Become a Member of Carmichael Parks Foundation

The Carmichael Parks Foundation is a non-profit public charity of volunteers dedicated to supporting the youth and parks of our community.  The mission of the Foundation focuses on enriching the quality of life for children, families, and seniors in our community through our parks. A core role of the Foundation is to provide scholarships to local youth so they may participate in the many recreational programs offered by the Park District.

Since 2009, the Foundation has contributed over $350,000 in support of the Carmichael Recreation and Park District and its programs. In recent years, the Foundation has supported youth scholarships for both recreation and distance learning, family recreation opportunities, and park beautification including the newly remodeled Garfield House and Veteran's Memorial building. New projects are being planned, including afterschool programs at local middle schools.
