Dinner in the Park – A Carmichael Gourmet Affair

The evening a glance…

Guests will start arriving by shuttle at 5, with dinner at 6:30 and music at 7:30.

  • Park at Carmichael Elementary School, hop on a shuttle to Sutter Community Gardens.  (Please note:  there is no parking at the park for the event.  Shuttle service is provided starting at 5:00 at Carmichael Elementary School, 6141 Sutter Ave, Carmichael, 95608.  Click for map to school)
  • Upon arrival, enjoy a glass of wine while greeting friends and wondering through the beautiful community gardens at Sutter Park.

  • Then, meander from Sutter Gardens down the walking path toward Charles Jensen Botanical Gardens, enjoying local restaurant’s sumptuous appetizers and beverage stations along the way.
  • Hawks-Restaurant-SacramentoFind your table in the garden at Jensen and sit down to a family style meal prepared with locally grown foods by guest Chefs Mike and Molly Hawks of Hawks Restaurant.
  • Exquisite desserts prepared and served by the American River College Culinary Arts program.


  • And, Finally, listen to live music, featuring internationally known musician and Carmichael resident, Joe Gilman.
